General context of the call
DigiCosme is one of 103 Laboratories of Excellence, funded by ANR, whose extension has been accepted for the period 2020-2024. Started in 2012, the LabEx aims to resolve some of the major challenges raised by the digital revolution, by relying on the excellent potential for research, training and innovation in ICST at the Paris-Saclay site.
Objectives of the call
Responses to this call must show how they contribute to the objectives of the Labex DigiCosme and to the strengthening of research collaborations in the field of ICST on the Saclay plateau (Université Paris-Saclay and Institut Polytechnique de Paris).
Thus, all proposals must be based on the collaboration of at least two laboratories within the scientific scope of Labex.
New collaborations are strongly encouraged. Priority will also be given to projects combining two axes of DigiCosme (ComEx, IID, SciLex).
Scope of the call
For this session, the following actions will be supported:
- workgroups
- doctoral grants
- visiting professors
- educational actions
Responses to these actions may be submitted exclusively by teams within the scientific scope of the Labex DigiCosme. Only the laboratories appearing in the financing agreement may be bearers and managers of the allocated credits, see appendix 1.

Submission of tenders
The dates and methods of submission appear on the first page.
Each file will include a part of the scientific description of the project and a financial annex.
The projects must clearly indicate the DigiCosme axis (s) and / or the WG in which they fall, depending on the type of project. For this, the project leaders should contact the managers of GT and / or DigiCosme axis as the case may be.
Applications submitted after the deadline and / or incomplete will not be examined.
Selection of projects
The files will be studied according to the type of project, either by the internal DigiCosme committees (possibly having recourse to experts from the Labex perimeter or external), or by a specific jury comprising members from outside the Labex.
The selection will take into consideration the scientific excellence of the project, and its adequacy with the objectives of the Labex.
The Labex may ask project leaders for both scientific and financial adjustments before making its final decision.
Validity of DigiCosme funding
If the project involves recruitments, these recruitments must be effective no later than 12/31/2022, after which date the corresponding appropriations may be reallocated to other projects.
Whatever the type of project financed by the Labex, the execution of expenditure may in no case extend beyond December 31, 2024.
Commitment
The project leader undertakes to use the credits in accordance with the objectives announced and validated by the DigiCosme bodies, to report annually on scientific activity and the use of credits. At the end of the project, he agrees to list the achievements against the promises made during the submission.
If the Labex judges that the credits have not been used in accordance with the stated objectives, a refund may be requested. Likewise, unused credits must be reimbursed by the partner establishment.
The support of Labex DigiCosme must appear in the communications associated with the funded activities by inserting the following mention:
